The FBI-Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (FBI-LEEDA) announced that the Upper Providence Township Police Department was awarded the FBI-LEEDA Agency Trilogy Award and is the fourteenth police department in Pennsylvania to receive the award. The award recognizes the department’s completion of a cutting-edge training program designed to strengthen public safety leadership and management globally.
The entire command staff of the Upper Providence Township Police Department successfully completed a comprehensive three-part leadership series, which covers critical topics like diversity, equity, and inclusion, implicit bias, public trust, and emotional intelligence. The Agency Trilogy Award recognizes such commitment to excellence, celebrating public safety agencies that elevate their organizations and positively impact their communities.

Each FBI-LEEDA course is uniquely designed to enhance public safety professionals of all levels with leadership competencies. The courses are instructed by seasoned public safety leaders from across the country who tailor their strong expertise to each training course.

Since the inception of the Agency Trilogy Award, 169 law enforcement organizations have been awarded for excellence in leadership upon completion of the Command Leadership Institute, the Supervisor Leadership Institute and the Executive Leadership Institute.
