The Pennsylvania Freedom Coalition (PFC) gathered over 200 at Valley Forge for its first monthly rally on August 22nd, to stand for the preservation of God-given and Constitutional rights and freedoms here in Pa.! This coalition is bringing together grassroots organizations across Pennsylvania, each with its own unique freedom focus, who are now linking arms to stand for vaccine CHOICE, mask CHOICE, integrity in our election process, and an end to leftist indoctrination in our schools.

It came in perfect timing, as just this week the large pharmaceutical company Merck chose to send its employees, including those working from home, a communication letting them know they had until November 1 to be vaccinated. Some exemptions may apply, but it has now become very difficult in many cases for individuals to obtain these necessary exemptions. It seems that no place is accepting them no matter how well worded they are.

In addition, many hospitals in Bucks and Montgomery Counties are now gearing up to fire the medical personnel who are not vaccinated by the designated date, with the threat of no severance package – which leaves many scratching their heads saying, “Whatever happened to ‘MY body, MY choice!?’”

PA Freedom Coalition Rally.

Many organizations gathered on Sunday including Free PA, Moms for Liberty, Pennsylvania Coalition for Informed Consent, and many more. Tabitha Valleau with Free PA talked about their success in winning case after case throughout the COVID-19 lockdowns. She said, “This ends when brave people stand up and say NO!”

If companies can remove an individual’s basic human right to have or refuse a medical procedure, what other rights can our government take away, aided by private companies?

At the rally, I shared a famous quote written by Martin Niemöller, a Lutheran pastor in Germany during WWII, who said, “First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.”

First they came for the small businesses and I was not a small business owner—so I didn’t speak out. Then they came for the restaurants and I was not a restaurant owner—so I did not speak out. Then they came for the unvaccinated and I was not unvaccinated—so I did not speak out. And then they came for me…

When will we as a community wake up, learn from history, and realize that preserving our neighbor’s God-given rights and freedoms means preserving our OWN?!
