Delaware County is partnering with Visit Delco to hold a tailgate and watch party as the Philadelphia Union takes on Miami in the Leagues Cup Semifinal game on Tuesday, August 15.
The game starts at 7pm. Pre-game festivities will be held from 5p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Union Yards outside of the Subaru Park stadium where food and drinks are served. Visit Delco will have their big “DELCO’ letters for people to pose with and other Visit Delco goodies. Residents who don’t have tickets are invited to watch the game outside on a television screen.
The game has garned a lot of excitement from soccer fans who hope to see Lionel Messi, said to be one of the greatest soccer players ever, is playing for Miami.
The Delco party will be held outside Subaru Park stadium, 10 Reaney Street in Chester. Look for the bid red “Visit Delco” tent.
